my saturday was spent outside with my art and 3 other charming artists. it was a good day. we were participating in the *celebrate irvington- art walk* thanks to homespun: modern handmade.

i was sharing a tent with geoff davis of 50 little birds. his work is amazing!  i was even lucky enough to watch him carve, sand and paint a few birds throughout the day, one of those birds was this beautiful owl which is now posted on etsy!

{and he also played his ukulele for me!}

one of the other artists was katheryn dart who makes beautiful encaustic paintings {painting with beeswax}. her paitings are dreamy and reflective. i absolutely love them!

and last but not least, green illuminations  kept the street smelling wonderful all day with their all natural candles. my favorite, though, is their wine bottle lanterns. i would love to have them all around our back yard!

i was so happy to be out meeting new artist friends!

thanks again to  amanda and neal of homespun for hosting us and for the invitation!
